Is excuses.
To escape from the truth, to not tell the truth, to protect ourselves, to cover up our faults and mistakes, to earn forgiveness, to make ourselves feel better, to boost our ego…
So many, so many reasons why we keep using excuses but… Those reasons are just excuses to justify why we want to give an excuse in the first place.
I admit I am guilty as charged. That is why, now, I try to tell the truth, even when it sounds almost crude. And that is why I don’t understand people who would rather hear excuses than the truth. Are your ears too delicate? Or brains too mushy? Or would you rather hear excuses because you know you would have to use some in the future?
What is worse, are those who can’t tell the truth and can’t find a good-enough excuses.
How pathetic.

Agree, agree, agree.
Can’t stand hearing excuses from people… especially those who are close to me. And when I tell them to stop bullshitting me with their excuses, they say I’m too in-their-face. So are we supposed to come up with more excuses to excuse their excuses? Bah.
