I was just wondering whether Mayday planned to have a 2-part concert right from last year, before they held their previous one. Besides the names, “Leaving Earth’s Surface 2007″ and “Down to Earth 2008″, there was also the high-budget video shown to the audience at the start of both concerts with the happy ending only revealed at the latest one (Down to Earth).
Well. I can’t confirm my suspicions although there’s just this nagging thought at the back of my head that tells me as much as Mayday is a rock band, they are afterall, stripped down to the core, artistes and have to consider album and ticket sales and popularity.
Indoor stadium is definitely a way better choice as compared to Max Pavilion (venue for the previous concert) and it comes with a price. $168. Freaking expensive if you ask me. What with inflation and the rising cost of living. I could do better than splurge $168 on a performance, which is not a need! I was sort of regretting my extravagance but since I couldn’t do anything but to go for the concert… … …
I should stop grousing and just TRY to enjoy it.
