I first saw these slinky chairs on a Taiwanese variety TV programme, Guess Guess Guess like quite some time ago. Was desperately searching for it online but gave up after like 2 days. So me. I know.
And now. I found the site though Fashion Nation. Yippee!!!!
I absolutely love these chairs, which are eco-friendly by the way. So you can save the earth without compromising on the style factor of your apartment.
I’m now in a maniacal attempt to convince my parents that the sofa in our living room is pathetic and it’s time to change to one of these! And to get away from me, they just left for Japan and will be there for 9 days.
Dang!
It’s quite a sad Friday today.
Not only did the new stocks for the shop (that I’m working in. I’m not a boss. Yet.) not arrive, the sales is pretty bad. I hate being the bad-newsbearer. I felt immense guilt from having to tell them, “The stocks will only be in tomorrow,” and seeing their crestfallen faces.
A regular even told me,
“You know, this is like a highlight of my life. I look forward to coming (here) every Friday.”
Wow. I’m really honoured. I wish I didn’t have to be the one to disappoint the customers. Hope I’ll never have to do it again!
And the employee in the shop next to the one I’m working in wore ankle boots to work today! Coolness. She said I inspired her to wear boots in Singapore after I wore my booties to work.
Oh. My. Goodness. I am so darn flattered! It never occurred to me that a simple decision in my outfit could “inspire” someone to start wearing something she normally wouldn’t. Some time ago, my friend told me that after she seen me accessorizing with scarves, she started doing that as well.
Wow.
Thanks friends.

For encouraging me to TRY taking fashion risks.
