Alright. The 3rd part of my trip to Japan in February. And it’s 31st March today. Gosh. I sure took a long time to blog about it. At least the trip wasn’t during last year.
And I still don’t think I can finish it today because there’s a new part-timer coming in today and I’m supposed to be training her…
Sheesh…
Business Law exam on Wednesday… Working today and tomorrow. Blogging instead of studying. Gosh. I’ve got my priorities all wrong. But neways… This is the 2nd entry (1st entry here) dedicated to my trip to Japan. I predict there will be a 3rd and just possibly a 4th, 5th … …
Right. Here’s a warning to a long entry ahead again… Read the rest of this entry »
So I’ve decided to stop procrastinating and share the loveliness in Japan with everyone!
It’s supposed to be a one week tour but minus the flight time, it’s only about 6 days. Moreover we departed at 0110 to save time see. Kinda tiring because who in the world will have a nice sleep on board?! The turbulence was pretty bad and it wasn’t exactly a darn private, cosy little room to yourself…
I’ve had a great time there although it would have been better if we didn’t join a tour! I guess I’ll be going back there soon! Free and easy the next time round. Anyone wanna join me?
Been watching movies again. I think those peeps anticipating photos from my Japan trip might be hatching a scheme to murder me or something already.
I haven’t been using the computer as much lately thanks to school and work. Yes. I have started school and I’m already beginning to dread it.
So anyways….

Seems that I really like fantasy and animals.
So anyhow… 10 000 B.C. isn’t bad but it isn’t fantastic either. It was intense, inspirational and definitely action-packed but they story line just didn’t do it for me. Since when did pyramids come about in 10. 000 B.C.?! And the characters speaking in English just made it odder than it already is!
So watch it only on weekdays, better if its on a cheap VCD or something.
The Water Horse was better than 10 000 B.C. More interesting, funnier and waaaaaaaaaay more realistic even though it’s probably just a legend. No?
I love the clothes in the movie! Set during the WWII era, there’s checks, cardigans, knee-high socks, jodhpurs and lace-ups! Heavenly! And of course, cute little Crusoe who isn’t actually very little in the end. I love myths and fantasy so maybe that’s why the movie did it for me! The story was so darn touching and at the very least, it really made me hate war after watching!
So I would suggest watching The Water Horse preferably in the afternoon or on weekdays because noisy kids will totally spoil the tranquility and peace of the movie.

Alrite. Be prepared to warm the seats enough to cook an egg if you’re watching this movie cos it’s 2-freaking-hours. That aside, it was absolutely worth every cent I paid!
Oh. Please remember to bring a hankie too because most people who watch it are just going to sob. I swear. At least that is what I observed from the volume of sniffing and crying in the cinema.
I was anticipating this movie ever since I saw the music video for one of the theme songs, “Heavenly Days” sang by Aragaki Yui on MTV. Maybe it was just plain because it was a Japanese movie (I’m a sucker for Japanese items, shows, food etc etc) or maybe because of the nice scenery or maybe because of the cinematography. I finally watched it today and it was fantastic!
*spoilers ahead*
Meaning my friends. It’s ‘SCL’ (i.e. Stop Cruelty to Life), a group of 4 friends (including me!) who went to Hainan Island together, got to know each other better during that 6months and have been kakis ever since. Ciggy kaki, drinking kaki, mainly these 2 vices that we indulge in.
So we met up after like what… a few months?! Busy careerwomen we are.
It was nice… Just chatting, drinking, relaxing and spying on Filipinos trying to get Caucasian guys for the night. *Ahem* For a price of course. We talked loads! About work, life, love, the future, gossip, friendship and travelling. I really hope we can travel together again someday and relive those days we spent in Hainan Island!
Jen hasn’t sent us the pic we took with her mobile yet. But here’s one from September last year, no, that wasn’t the last time we met. Not so long ago anyway!

Soon.
My friends know that I can’t tolerate noisy kids.
Then I met this dilemma today. There was this little girl (the only reason why I didn’t call her monster is because she looks cute and not evil) who was crying pointlessly in the shop that I’m working in today. Of course when kids cry, they tend to add in some high decibel shrieks which never fails to irritate me endless. But I can’t do nothing because I’m working!!!
Just so happens that there was these 2 French ladies in the shop too and one of them screamed at the girl and her brother to “SHUT UP!!!”
Oh my! I was shocked! Hahahaha! Come to think of it now, it was FUNNY! And shut up the kids really did! The parents, finally realising that the public’s tolerance towards their kids has reached boiling point, hurried out of the changing room and left after buying something.
Thanks to that French lady, I finally had some peace…. Someone please sponsor me a France trip because I believe, after this incident, that the kids there must be angels!
